Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FeedGrid ("the Service"), a Shopify application developed and operated by FeedGrid ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using FeedGrid, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

FeedGrid is a Shopify application that allows merchants to connect their Instagram and TikTok accounts and display their social media feed content on their Shopify storefront. The Service provides seven customisable layouts: Grid, Slider, Collage, Highlight, Masonry, Cards and Reels.

2. Eligibility

To use FeedGrid you must:

• Operate a Shopify store in good standing
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of your business
• Hold a valid Instagram and/or TikTok account that complies with those platforms' terms of service

3. Account and Access

Access to FeedGrid is through your existing Shopify account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Shopify account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

FeedGrid Complete is $4.99 USD every 30 days after a 14-day trial approved through Shopify. The plan, trial start and billing terms are shown by Shopify before you approve the subscription.

Eligible existing merchants retain their legacy free access. Existing Starter and Pro subscriptions remain recognized under their current Shopify agreements unless the merchant chooses a different plan through Shopify.

Paid subscriptions are billed through Shopify. Prices are displayed in the app and are subject to change with 30 days' notice. Cancellations take effect at the end of the applicable trial or paid period confirmed by Shopify. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use FeedGrid to:

• Display content that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Display content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the Service
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure
• Circumvent any access controls or usage limits imposed by the Service

6. Third-Party Platform Compliance

FeedGrid connects to Instagram (Meta) and TikTok APIs to retrieve your feed content. Your use of these integrations must comply with:

• Meta's Terms of Service and Instagram Platform Policy
• TikTok's Terms of Service and Developer Terms
• Shopify's Partner Program Agreement and API Terms

We are not responsible for changes to third-party APIs that may affect the functionality of the Service. Access to social media platform data is subject to those platforms' approval and may be revoked at any time by those platforms.

7. Intellectual Property

The FeedGrid application, including its code, design, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your social media content remains your property. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to cache and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Availability and Uptime

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service relies on third-party infrastructure including Shopify, Cloudflare, Instagram, and TikTok. We are not liable for downtime caused by these third parties. We will use reasonable efforts to notify merchants of planned maintenance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FeedGrid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Termination

You may terminate your use of FeedGrid at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
